Agere/Age regression = mind reverting back to a younger, more childlike state of mind/mindset. It is usually involuntary and is usually a symptom or coping mechanism for stress, trauma, or a disorder. See ARDEN for more info.

Agedre/Age dreaming = a headspace which revolves around childhood and the person (dreamer) feels or is small/childlike. Many dreamers do this as they enjoy the aesthetics and comfort of childish things. Dreamers may use this term as they feel that their headspace doesn't fit into the age regression label (usually due to being in this headspace most of the time so they don't 'regress', they can control the headspace and it is voluntary, they do it for fun, or their headspace is both child and adult so they're not 'fully regressed'). Kidcore = the aesthetics of childhood and nostalgia. It usually surrounds either reliving your actual childhood or living the childhood you wish you had. Typically kidcore falls under the agedre umbrella. See wikipedia for more info.
